In the first convention the participated renowned and experienced agronomists recommended a number of technologies and recommendations were treated and highlighted as a way to overcome national problems which were also telecasted in the electronic and print media such as radio, television and daily newspaper. We are proud of those achievements. In the fifth convention it was decided to publish a journal named “Bangladesh Agronomy Journal” on half yearly basis. A total of eighteenth volumes of the journal has so far been published. This journal deserves to be of high quality as compared to other journals of the country. The society has also published a number of “Agronomy Abstract” during its Conventions/Conferences. Steps are also being taken to publish “Agronomy Newsletter” on a regular basis as these types of publications are very important to keep the Agronomists updated regarding the Agronomic profession as well as agronomic technologies.
